Every Thing Happens for a Reason
Some People say "everything happens for a reason." If you ask me I think that's just some old saying. I really don't believe in that stuff. For instance was there a reason the love of my life died in a car crash at 21? I didn't think so. I told you just some old saying. Elijah and I were the type of couple that beat all the odds. We made it through long distance. We made it through moving cities. We made it through the death of his mom. Though all the change, our love was one constant I could rely on.
Elijah and I would do everything together. He was my bestfriend the only one I had. We planned our future together. After college we planned on moving together and starting a new life. Elijah was a nice carrying person he liked to help others out he enjoyed seeing others smile.
The night before the terrible accident Elijah was with me he was going to go pick up dinner. I was going to go with him but he insisted to go by himself. It was around 8:10 pm when he left. 1 hours passed by and I was worried about him I try to call him but he didn't answer. I realized that something wasn't right something didn't feel right I got in my car drove on to find and on my way there was to seem to be accident the cops were there I really couldn't see the car. A policeman came to window and said,
" Sorry ma'am there has been a accident."
"Do you know what happened?" I asked
" A drunk driver hit this poor guy."
I got off my car everything was falling apart I could hear the policeman telling me I couldn't cross I ran to see who it was and as soon as I got there my heart dropped. I had a feeling it could of been him but I didn't want it to be him. I screamed and cried as I seem him on the floor. I couldn't believe it I was speechless.
A week passed by but it wasn't the same without Elijah. I couldn't believe that faster than the beat of a butterfly wing, my life had changed. I didn't want to move on I couldn't move on. Now I'm alone. if you ask me if I think that everything happens for a reason is true I would still tell you that I don't believe in that stuff and that I don't think it's true. Unless the reason was to make my life miserable. In which case, it worked out pretty well. Every thing happens for a reason, but Elijah was the reason to live.
